Went and saw my friend Amiel's film The Silent Eye at the Melbourne International Film Festival. So beautiful and meditative. A film that kind washed over and around you. My mind wandered and drifted around with it. On the train home I thought of films I'll never make.... but maybe parts of those films will make it into the ones I will. North Melbourne, VIC.

Just saw There Will Be Blood with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performing the score live. Incredible. Kensington, VIC.

A friend's 7 year old son passed away and today I went to a beautiful memorial held for him held at the primary school he attended. Tonight I held Rosebud's hand extra tight as she fell asleep. My thoughts are with my friend and his family. Brunswick, VIC.
