Somewhere.
Rosebud lost in thought... Heathrow, London
"My feet are so tired, my head is so wired" Bob Dylan. After over a month of travel, heading back home to Australia tomorrow. Really going to miss this view from our apartment... Mont Martre, Paris
Met up with a friend today. Canal Saint Martin, Paris
Back in Paris, went to a sold out football match wth Ollie. Crowds crushed into the Metro afterwards.
Road to nowhere. Took a quick flight down to Biarritz Television Festival where The Beautiful Lie was screening. Cool to see it screen to a very different audience and very cool to see it subtitled in french. Back to Paris tomorrow...
Saint Eustache Eglise, Paris
Another train journey today... this time to Paris. Light snow and low sun at 300km/h.
Caught a train to Knole Park in Kent. Caught Nats reflection in the winter sunlight flickering through the trees. Love travelling with her...
The descent. 6pm, Central Line, Soho, London
Soho, London
Tonight in Covent Garden, London.
Icy takeoff. Belp, Switzerland
Last day in this beautiful place today. Interlaken, Switzerland. London tomorrow...
Walking through the Lauterbrunnen valley with Natalie today. Fresh snow!
Spent the day sledding in Murren. Majestic mountains even more majestic when the sun breaks on through.
Post anniversary dinner with Natalie. Married thirteen years today! Wengen, Switzerland
Moved up into the mountain village of Lauterbrunnen for a few days.
Nat and I took a long walk in the rain by a huge rolling river on the edge of the village. It was cold, misty and beautiful. We ended up walking back through town and came across a 'burn your christmas tree' event. There was a traditional german band playing and hot wine. Some guys in the middle of the field took turns dumping Christmas trees onto the fire. (I'll post some more images on Hoaxville.) The snap and crackle of the pine needles burning, such a wonderful sound.
