Road to nowhere. Took a quick flight down to Biarritz Television Festival where The Beautiful Lie was screening. Cool to see it screen to a very different audience and very cool to see it subtitled in french. Back to Paris tomorrow...

Another train journey today... this time to Paris. Light snow and low sun at 300km/h.

Spent the day sledding in Murren. Majestic mountains even more majestic when the sun breaks on through.

Nat and I took a long walk in the rain by a huge rolling river on the edge of the village. It was cold, misty and beautiful. We ended up walking back through town and came across a 'burn your christmas tree' event. There was a traditional german band playing and hot wine. Some guys in the middle of the field took turns dumping Christmas trees onto the fire. (I'll post some more images on Hoaxville.) The snap and crackle of the pine needles burning, such a wonderful sound.

Wet and miserable day but the family who plays mini golf together, stays together. Unterseen, Switzerland

We spent the day high up in the Alps, I have photos of massive mountain peaks and epic snow covered valleys. The scale of the landscapes here in Switzerland is awe-inspiring, it blows my mind. But the image above is a more intimate one. The reflection of my father in-law Keith and my brother in-law Tim. A father and son, travelling quietly together down the steep mountain at dusk.
